Cypress Black Bayou Chapel.

Chapel

Agreement between

Cypress Black Bayou Recreation Park
and
Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association

It is of primary importance to have a permanent site for worship services, day camping, puppet shows, and musical performances. The Chapel would benefit the Cypress-Black Bayou park by being located adjacent to the RV and Camping areas, yet not infringing on the privacy of the camper. The Resort Ministry of the Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association would benefit by being assured of a location for their activities (agreed upon in advance by the park commission) especially in inclement weather.

The construction of the Park Chapel and identifying sign would be sponsored by the Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association, Rev. Bruce Parrish, Director.
The cost of the construction would be borne by the Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association to include the foundation, the concrete slab, the support beams, and the roof, including the wiring and light fixtures.

The Park Commission would be responsible for providing the site, and the electrical lines up to the Park Chapel. The cost of the utilities, maintenance, and upkeep of the chapel would also be borne by the park, as the chapel would belong to them

APPROVED BY Executive Board of Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association,
April 7, 1987.

APPROVED BY Cypress Black Bayou Recreation Park
March 9, 1988
